So we’re in the middle of a Lunar new year and so Steam is celebrating by having another awesome sale. This time with a point and click adventure with a monkey!

As of today you’ve got 5 days to take advantage of this sale, the sale ends on Feb. 12th!

 

Pick Your Genres

Yes, if you go on the main page of the Steam store and scroll down a bit you’ll come across an area to click one of two choices for different scenarios that you would be in, you portray a monkey in this mini adventure.

Each situation has you pick a genre of games, like in the image above. You can either play cards or jump in the ring with the folks and depending on what button you click, those types of games will pop up for you anywhere from 10%-90% off with a sale.

There’s everything from sports games to games with dragons, magic games, fighting games, driving games and more that you get to choose through this way of seeing the sales.

I suggest picking through your favorite genres as you go through and adding each game that looks interesting to you to your wish list because at the end of this “adventure” you’re going to be told to check out your wish list.

 

Some Notable Sales

I’d like to list some games that I think you should consider picking up on this sale because they are either on a huge sale at the moment or they won’t be going on sale for a good bit of time yet.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege is an absolutely great game. They just got a new content update for the game recently and it is 25% off right now. It’s definitely a game worth getting at $45!

Rocket League is also on sale at 35% off. For $14, Rocket League is going to keep you entertained for a very long time. Plenty of updates, infinite amounts of gameplay and one of my favorite games of all time. You should definitely pick it up!

Borderlands 2 GOTY edition is at 78% off, loads of content there and it’s also another great game worth picking up!

I don’t currently own Shadow of Mordor but the GOTY edition is at 75% off for this sale and that’s definitely a game worth getting, especially at a sale rate like that. I don’t own it but I’ve played plenty of it at a friends house and it’s an awesome game!

Some titles that I’m thinking about picking up include Pixel Piracy (90% off), Ark: Survival Evolved (33% off), Rogue Legacy (70% off), Forsaken Isle (25% off), Stronghold HD (75% off), Styx: Master of Shadows (75% off), Dark Souls II (62% off), and Far Cry 4 (60% off).

Now this doesn’t mean that I am for sure going to be picking these up, but I’m definitely considering it! I’ll for sure be buying Stronghold HD since I love to play the Stronghold games on LAN with a friend of mine and we have yet to experience what that specific one in the series is like.
