Here’s What I Played Throughout March

I want to start a new series of posts for you guys. Towards the end of each month I want to write a post up all about which games I had been playing throughout the month this way you can see what I’m actively playing and who knows, maybe you’ll want to pick up a game or two that I’ve been personally playing!

I’ve mainly been playing three games throughout March and man I’ve been playing them a ton.

Here are the three games I’ve mostly played:

EVGA GTX 970 4GB Review, The Best Graphics Card For 1080p?

For today’s post I’m going to review the EVGA GTX 970 4GB graphics card. Some say that it’s the best card for 1080p, but does it really deliver?

I ask if it delivers because when the GTX 970 series cards were first being released and people checked the specifications of it with different programs some people found that the card doesn’t actually use all 4GB of the video memory, people were saying that it only uses 3.5GB of the video memory.

Through my personal research, I’ve come to find that the 970 is indeed able to use all 4GB of the VRAM, it’s just that the last 0.5GB is accessed a lot slower than the rest of it.

I’ll later share a video that I found to be pretty informative in that context but…

With that, let’s get to the review.

What Is A Good Anti Virus Program For PC Builds?

I’ve had many people pop the question over to me regarding which anti virus program they should be using in order to ensure that they are protected from the nastiness of malware, trojans and viruses that are all around the world wide web.

It’s crazy because there are more of these viruses than ever before and as we are all moving forward into this digital world it should be in our best interest to be as well protected as possible.

I actually have personal experience with a few programs and I’d like to explain why I use the anti virus that I use over the others…

So lets get on with it!

The Culling’s Future Has Insane Potential

If you haven’t heard of or played The Culling yet then you’re missing out, you should seriously buy this game. Its future is in good hands.

The Culling has just recently been released a few days ago (3/4/16) and I’ve already sunk about 13 hours into it. The gameplay is extremely fun and simple to understand yet it is also very challenging and the replay value is very high, even for it being an early access title right now.

Ethernet Speed VS Wireless, Which Do You Prefer?

In the battle of ethernet’s blazing speed VS the power of wireless, which one wins in your opinion? Both have their major advantages, that’s for sure.

With ethernet you’re able to have the best connection that is available to you. You experience a lot less lag when playing multiplayer and you experience faster load times with anything dealing with the web.

With a wireless connection you’re able to have your PC virtually anywhere in the house and you’re still able to have a solid connection.

Doom Has A Release Date Set In May

Doom finally has an official release date and it is set for May 13th, 2016. I thought that it would release closer to the end of 2016, what a surprise!

I’m very excited for this game because it seems like Bethesda is going back to its roots to the classic Doom experience that we all know and love dearly. There are going to be some amazing new features and obviously, the physics and graphics engines of today’s world.

Not All Stronghold Crusader 2 Reviews Add Up

I read a ton of Stronghold Crusader 2 reviews before picking it up, both on Steam and random ones I could find on the internet. Some were good, some were bad.

Honestly, a lot of the reviews were negative about the game, especially on Steam. Being a long time of the first game, I really wanted to pick this one up and love it.

I’ve put in about 30 hours into the game which is a clear sign that I’m enjoying it so far. Usually I’ll only play a game for a few hours if I don’t actually enjoy it, that’s not the case with Crusader 2.

I wrote a review of the first one and I did state that it’s probably my favorite game of all time. It was my childhood and I still play it to this day so I guess that I’m a little bias towards this title since I am such a huge fan of the game before it but I’m going to be reviewing this differently than the other reviews that I’ve seen.
