Do You Need To Wear Gloves While Building Your PC?

Some people believe that you must wear rubber gloves when you go to put your PC build together. It’s not entirely necessary and I’ll tell you why!

With my first couple of builds I made sure that I wore rubber gloves because I figured that since static electricity can’t get through rubber that I’d be entirely safe.

Although this is true, rubber gloves really aren’t needed as there are some super simple solutions to making sure that you don’t have any static electricity in your hands when you go to build.

PC Hardware Is Extremely Overpriced Right Now

Many of you in the comments area are asking about alternative parts mainly when it comes to graphics cards or RAM. The thing is, no matter where you check, it’s all very overpriced.

I’ve looked into why hardware has sky rocketed in the past year and I have a bit of speculation as to when/if we’ll ever see hardware go back down to a decent enough price for us gamers.

There are several parts that are needed to build a gaming PC and it’s pretty easy to get lost and confused when you’re in the market to do a build of your own.

It’s best to know what you’re getting into fully before even trying otherwise you risk messing up having the wrong motherboard socket or you accidentally got a video card that isn’t going to fit within your desired case.

What’s Going On With AMD’s RX Series Video Cards?

In any market that you look into there is always an up and down slope of pricing and stock due to supply and demand, having enough product and other means.

Right now all of the RX series graphics cards from AMD are either priced at over $400 or they’re completely out of stock on other websites.

How Come?

The answer is BitCoin mining. It’s unfortunate that the market had to move so drastically because of it but that’s definitely why we’re not seeing any RX 480’s/RX 580’s on the market for an acceptable price point right now.

A Ryzen 7 PC build is ideal for those that want to have a PC that can handle heavy rendering and multi-threaded tasks. Ryzen 7 is great for content creators!

It’s also very capable for gaming, though through benchmarks Intel has shown that when it comes to overall gaming performance that they are the more ideal pick. Ryzen can be overclocked to reach a similar level of potential. I’ll elaborate a bit more on this below!
