CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXIVR8020A4 Review, A Pre-Built Gaming PC That Makes Sense

cyberpowerpc gamer xtreme gxivr8020a4 review

It’s about that time to review the CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXIVR8020A4 model since it seems to be selling well on Amazon, it boasts having amazing hardware and it is at a decent price point. The only way to know is to take a look inside for yourself to see what you’re really getting with this PC.

Previous reviews have been done here with other CyberPowerPC computers, more specifically with the Gamer Xtreme GXiVR8020A2 model – this new model is an upgrade from the last iterations since new hardware has been released since then.

This is great because if this PC follows suit with the past then that means that you’re getting very close to having the right amount of power per dollar spent which is hard to find with most pre-built gaming PCs.

With that, let’s get to the review.

Thermaltake WATER 3.0 Riing RGB 240/360 Review, Is This The Ideal RGB Liquid Cooler?

I’d like to post a Thermaltake WATER 3.0 Riing RGB 240/360 review because it is one of the most popular RGB liquid coolers on the market right now and many want to know if it’s good enough to stand the test of time and if the performance is worth the dollars spent.

I’ve been using this cooler for almost a year now and it has been doing very well for me. My build has the 240 version installed cooling an i7-7700k and it’s able to handle a slight overclock just fine. I’ll be getting into more details as we move along with the post.

With that, let’s get to the review.

What Is Delver? The Addicting Rouge-Like Dungeon Crawler

If you’re wondering what Delver is, what it’s about and if it’s even worth getting then look no further. After putting in a decent amount of hours into these dungeons I can say that it’s at least worth trying out if you like rouge-likes!

With graphics inspired by classic dungeon crawlers and a mix of Minecraft, Delver was made to try and be the dungeon crawler that satisfies the parts that other games just couldn’t get right.

Delver is all about delving deep into some dungeons, grabbing what is called the Yithidian orb and escaping all in one go. If you die, you will respawn as another delver with some of the gold from the last crawl.

Subnautica VR Review, Exploring A Sea Planet In VR

Subnautica is a game where you explore and survive on a planet that is entirely made out of water. Let’s review Subnautica’s VR compatibility and go over how the experience differs over playing on a flat screen.

I use the HTC Vive for VR gaming and Subnautica is at the top of my list for my most enjoyable games in VR. Sure, there isn’t official controller support and it’s a little buggy but all in all, it makes Subnautica a lot more immersive and for me, turns it into a horror title.

With that, let’s get to the review.

PC Hardware Is Extremely Overpriced Right Now

overpriced graphics card meme

Many of you in the comments area are asking about alternative parts mainly when it comes to graphics cards or RAM. The thing is, no matter where you check, it’s all very overpriced.

I’ve looked into why hardware has sky rocketed in the past year and I have a bit of speculation as to when/if we’ll ever see hardware go back down to a decent enough price for us gamers.

Pre-Built or Custom Gaming PC, What’s The Better Route?

A pre-built PC is ready to go right away whereas a custom gaming PC takes time to get to an optimal state. Should you go with a pre-built or a custom gaming PC?

It really comes down to what you’re looking for. A pre-built might let you get right into the action with the overall PC experience but you usually miss out on power per dollar spent. A custom gaming build lets you optimize how much you’re spending but you’ll have to learn how to put it all together.

Luckily it doesn’t take a computer scientist to put a PC together and there is plenty of material out there to help you out! Let’s go over both choices and decide which is the better route.

They Are Billions Review, The Tower Defense RTS With Zombies

They Are Billions Review

I figured it’s time to review the new and popular They Are Billions. Since it was on sale, I decided to pick it up and give it a go! RNG has never hurt so much.

This is the type of game where you get close to beating the level you’re on but then the game’s RNG decides that you’re going to fail again. Although it sucks to fail over and over, there’s something about the gameplay that keeps you coming back to try again and again.

Dell S2716DG 27″ Monitor Review, This Is 1440p Done Right

It’s time to review the Dell S2716DG 27″ monitor because it’s one of the best selling 1440p monitors on Amazon. Let’s see if it’s actually worth getting!

Usually 1440p monitors are priced super high when they have a bunch of features included but that’s not the case with the S2716DC model. With G-Sync and a moveable screen, the price really isn’t all that bad!

With that, let’s get to the review.
