Why You Should Never Buy A Pre Built Gaming PC

Are you looking at a pre built gaming PC that is relatively cheap, one that is looking nice? You need to understand what’s really under the hood with these PCs.

There are so many computer companies out there that try to boast how awesome their hardware is and how great it looks when the reality is that almost the exact opposite is true.

I’ve reviewed a few pre built gaming PCs lately and there is a trend of there being crappy hardware inside that doesn’t match the actual power and value that is to be expected when the PC arrives at your doorstep. Even most of the sites that give you a guide to build your own PC that they build for you don’t give you the most power per dollar spent.

The Valve PC Steam Controller, My Review After Day One

valve pc steam controller review

So I got my hands on Valve’s Steam controller which is supposed to be the all-in-one solution for the PC controller. Surprisingly, it’s a nice controller!

I was only surprised because after watching many YouTube videos I’d hear two sides of the story. Half of the users didn’t really like how it felt while using it and the other half absolutely loved it.

I pre ordered the controller in late October and got it in the mail earlier today. I’ve been using it all day with Fallout 4 and although it isn’t the 100% perfect solution, I definitely don’t regret picking it up.

With that, let’s get to the review.

SADES Gaming Headset Review, A Good Headset For Those On A Tight Budget

Today I wanted to share a SADES gaming headset review to get my point of view across on it. It’s a great headset to pick up if you’re on a tight budget!

SADES have created many different headsets but this one is by far their most popular and for good reason. For less than $20 you can get a pretty decent quality headset which actually competes with some of the more expensive ones out there on the market.

With that, let’s get to the review.

Acer H236HL Review, Is It A Good 1080p Monitor For Gaming?

I’d like to post an Acer H236HL review because it is one of the most popular monitors on the market right now and many want to know if it’s enough for gaming.

I think many people are more so attracted to this monitor because of it not only being at the gorgeous 1080p resolution but also for the overall look and how well it seems to sit on the base that was developed with it.

A similar monitor by ASUS that I wrote a review about had only one very minor issue with it and that was that the screen can easily shake left and right with a nudge on a desk. You’re not going to see that with the sturdy base of this Acer monitor.

With that, let’s get to the review.

CybertronPC Patriot GM1293D Desktop Review, You’ll Need A Dedicated GPU

I think that it is time to review the CybertronPC Patriot GM1293D desktop simply because it is still a pretty popular gaming PC for those in the market for one.

Like most of the other pre-built PCs out there, this PC is just not fit for today’s and tomorrow’s standard for PC games. The video card is a Radeon HD 7480D which is graphics embedded into the CPU.

Yeah, you’re going to need an actual video card if you’re planning on playing any AAA titles at all.

The CPU is a AMD A4-5300 3.40GHz Dual-Core processor which is pretty iffy on the performance side of things… you could do way better building your own PC for around the same price point.

With that, let’s get to the review.

Sentey PC Gaming Headset Review, High Quality Sound For A Low Price Point

It’s about time to review the PC gaming headset by Sentey. These guys went all in on this headset, including some of the best features for a lower price point.

This is what I love about Sentey. When it comes to their product lines, they don’t mess around. They include some of the greatest features that a headset can have but they compete with the bigger companies out there by providing an awesome price that almost anyone can afford.

Although this isn’t the cheapest headset, it’s definitely well worth each dollar spent. The value per dollar spent here is incredible!

With that said, let’s get to the review.

Best Logitech Gaming Mouse, Logitech G602 Review

Out of all of the mice that Logitech has released, which one is the best gaming mouse? Today I’d like to shed some light on which one I think is best and why!

Logitech is very well known for providing extremely high quality products no matter what it is that they might create, especially for the price points that the company decides to put on their top products.

In my opinion, the G602 provides the best value per dollar spent when you put some hardcore gaming into consideration. It has an insane battery life and it has just the right amount of button to not be an overwhelming piece of technology.

With that, let’s get to the review.

CM Storm Octane Keyboard/Mouse Review, Cooler Master Is At It Again

Cooler Master has recently released another keyboard/mouse combo so I figured it was time for a CM Storm Octane review for the keyboard and of the mouse as a packaged deal.

Cooler Master is at it again. They did extremely well with the popular CM Storm Devastator combo and now they wanted to create a multi color, more modern looking combo of a keyboard and a mouse and in my opinion, they did a really great job in doing so.

By adding a few more features and a strong look, they finished out a newer product that may actually be worth its current price point.

With that, let’s get to the review.

Acer G226HQL Review, A Valuable Monitor That Doesn’t Use HDMI

It’s time for an Acer G226HQL review. This is a pretty valuable monitor given the fact that it doesn’t come with any HDMI ports.

Although it doesn’t use HDMI, it does use a DVI or a VGA hook up and it also comes with both a DVI and a VGA cable which is obviously important for this specific monitor.

However, if you’d still want to use HDMI with this monitor, you still could. You’ll just have to pick up a HDMI to DVI cable, which is only about $7.

With that, let’s get to the review.
